Clem's Tap House

Fifty rotating taps and a full bar. Kensington's neighborhood bar, owned and run by the Kasawdish family.

Our Story

Same corner of Adams Avenue for generations. Craft beer, big screens, and a staff that remembers your usual.

What's Pouring

Fifty rotating taps, four flight trays, and a full bar. Seasonal favorites, the list changes daily, the welcome doesn't.

The Kitchen

Pizza, paninis, salads, and game-day snacks: honest food to go with whatever you're drinking.

We've been on Adams Avenue since before you were born.

Clem's Tap House has been part of Kensington since 1970. The Kasawdish family took the reins in 1987 and never stopped investing in the bar, turning it into the neighborhood's spot for craft beer on tap, a full bar, and a kitchen where everyone gets a warm hello.

Our team makes sure that every customer feels at home. Regulars know we'll remember what they like to drink, and we take real pride in that.

"My favorite part about Clem's is definitely the clientele. I know most people by name and it makes for a great atmosphere. I can't leave out the fact that I love craft beer. Working here never leaves me bored."

Proud supporters of the benefit pub crawl

Clem's is honored to back the Cancer for College benefit pub crawl, a neighborhood tradition and a cause that means a lot to our crew.

That work is also how we've had the good fortune to get to know Will Ferrell on the handful of times he's stopped by. We're big fans of his work on screen, and even bigger fans of what he does for students and families facing cancer. We're grateful for every visit and for everything he pours into this effort.

What people are saying

A few words from guests who've pulled up a stool. Thank you for the kind notes.

Had this place recommended by multiple people. Boy did it hold up, great beers and the Buffalo Chicken Pizza was divine. Totally will be coming back! Be sure to hit up the Bottle House afterwards.
